Correctional Officer

As a correctional officers I upheld order and security in prison I worked at. My main responsibilities included monitoring convicts, enforcing rules, searching for contraband, and guaranteeing staff and inmate safety. I helped to prevent and resolve inmate conflicts, respond to emergencies, and transport convicts about the institution. I also supervised visits, provided rehabilitation and therapy, and wrote inmate conduct reports. Discipline, communication, and the capacity to manage perilous circumstances are needed for this job.
